Long time lurker, first post. Been looking for an FJ. Not looking for something to store in garage but to drive. Mechanically sound, some imperfections, good looking antique truck.
Thanks for your time,
Taz

Great to hear you're wanting to join the addiction. To give everyone a better idea of what you're looking for, it may be helpful to narrow in on your preferences: Year (75-78, 79-83, 69-74, etc. - they all have different things to offer), price range (under $10k?), stock inline 6 vs 350, hard top vs soft top, etc. Hope you find what you're looking for. Good luck.

Thank you. As far as year goes, I'd prefer 75 to 83. But, I'm open to the other years. Price range under $20k. I'd like both hard top and soft top. I like the antique ones with white walls, etc somewhat true to the original classic. As far as color goes, I probably will not do tan. Thank you for your help, taz

With that budget you will get a good one. Keep your eyes peeled on here everyday. A few good ones have come through here lately. If your not familiar with 40s strike a deal contingent upon someone you can trust checking it out for you. Lots of good folks on the forum all over the country willing to look at rigs.
You may want to let the local club in your area know you are looking. Not sure where you are in VA but this might be your local club VA/NC- Mid-Atlantic Toyota Land Cruiser Associatio
Good luck with your search
