I’m restoring doors, paint, new window seals, etc. Removed the window/top section from the door and one of the mounting legs looks bent….or is it supposed to be this way. Just want to make sure before I try to bend it back.

Try to search for this thread, there was alot of good information concerning your issue, or not. - Sorry another real steel soft top bow question- See the pic of my jan'72 truck door with the straight edge flush against the lower door. It may be hard to see but there is definitely a lean in at the top.
Just bend it straight. The straightener you can get it the easier the window will go up and down when installed.
I wouldn't be in any hurry to start bending things just yet. You didn't mention what year truck you have. Based on the "wind wings" I'm guessing any early 40. You can somewhat see angle in of the upper window frame on my pic above. You can also see the top side angle in at a line right below the rear window. I'm not sure when all this changed, but I'll bet others do. All this has been covered in a number of threads in great detail. It all just serves to confuse me.
