Side window defroster ducts

So, my 77 was fitted with side defroster ducts. My windshield was secured with allen head bolts opposed to the bolts with the black plastic molded grips due to interference issue. Was this common in 78 when side defrosters were installed? Would anybody be able to post up some pics of the side defroster duct installation?

late models with the defrost ducts did not have the knob handle bolts. They had a long JIS gold cad plated bolt. I don’t have any pictures handy.

Mine was instaled from the factory with the bolts under the dash pad, which is how I put mine back together.

Note that I will be fixing this when the cage comes out for final weld. I should have made this so that the bolts are accessible.

Toyota doesn't note it's for use with side defrost but does show an alternative bolt, part number 90119-08121.
