Saw this one listed here in Vermont. I'd file it under "I'm overly optimistic on price and I'm too lazy to do any work to sell"

1971 Toyota Fj 40

I generally don't place much value on vehicles that sit up to their hubs in mud for unknown seasons on Vermont.

Pic and listing (Just in case the CL posting is removed... you can still have a good laugh)

1971 Toyota Fj 40 - $7000 (Central vt)
1977 toyota landcruiser. Fj-40
Entertaining trades. It can sit another winter but if you have a decent valuable trade I might consider. Not looking to email a ton. Send pictures via text and I'll tell you if I'm interested.

Ignore
Ski-doo, honda, rotax, Toyota, rifle collections, savage, marlin, Remington,

Pull it out of the woods, clean it up, get it running and driving, post about 15 more pics of the rest of the vehicle, and then you'd have solid listing, but $7,000 still might be a little too optimistic IMHO!

That is not a 1971 windshield... Wipers moved to bottom of windshield in 1975, so that is a 1975 or later windshield and fenders (Larger turn signals in an odd location??), but those are pre-1975 doors...

It also looks like a 1973 or later roll bar... so like most, this FJ40 has a story to tell (My bet is it probably has parts from several 40's and probably not a USA model).

I wonder if it has a 2F motor and a 4 speed? Disk breaks???
