Hi,

Looking for one of the clip holder for the jack rod over the rear wheel arch. I broke mine during my last trip....

If someone has an extra of the right model and is ready to ship to France I'll greatly appreciate. I'm fed up hearing this jack rod moving around x)

PS: Also looking for a coarse spline birfield if someone happens to have both parts to group shipping Wanted - FJ40 1974 - Coarse spline Birfield - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/fj40-1974-coarse-spline-birfield.1348391/

Will one from a 69 work? What would this item be worth?

I can't find any listings for the rod brackets anymore. I've looked for a couple for my 73 FST which looks the same. Not finding a listing makes hard to say what years used this style. My guess it is 9/72-1/75. Maybe 9/71-9/72 too. My 10/75 which is a 76 model has the next version. My plan is drill the rivet from the next generation clip and use either rivets or small machine screws with lock washers and nuts.

The OP #1 clip is identical to those in my Jan 1973. The US parts fiche shows them below:

In the USA, when Toyota added roll bars as standard equipment, they revised the clips to a taller design, to stand proud of the roll bar flanges.

Didn't think to look under the license. Found the bracket. Not believing the 9/69-9/73. Here is my 10/69 I bought from the original owner. It's original not restored.

My 10/75 which is original as well has the next style where the rods are closer together not like the one in post #1. My 3/73 FST has the style in post #1. Obviously Toyota doesn't really care how accurate their FJ40 parts system is.

I believe I have the part you need but I’m working out of town. If you haven’t found one or heard from me by Saturday, give me a nudge.
