Okay, maybe someone can help me clarify... I was driving in Kansas on HWY 56 east out of Baldwin City and saw what appeared to be an FJ28, in front of a repair shop. It was sitting with a bunch of junk but the body was in great condition. Is their any one in the area who knows about this vehicle. It would be a great rest project. I was trying to keep ahead of a storm so I didn't have a lot of time to look at it but I did pull over and for a quick look. And I think its a 28. Any way if there is anyone around Baldwin city or KC that could help clarify. Here is a pic of the shop it was in front of.

The shop is next to a Heritage Tractor store just east of Baldwin City.

all I have is the google earth image. I regrettably didn't take time to snap a picture of the actual vehicle.

I'm pretty sure sure it doesn't run. It was brown. body was in great cond. and all the windows were intact, no breaks or cracks. Had misc. stuff inside it though, I noticed a bicycle wheel and boxes.

ok so i know where the shop is...what do you want?...a pic of the truck?...do you want me to see if it is for sale....clarify please and i will drive over and take a look for ya...

Yeah if you could find out the name of the shop or some way of contacting them it would great. A pic if you could would be great too. I see by your location that you are familiar with why I was in a hurry and didn't get a more thorough look.

I'm located in Nebraska. I was in KC for three days and ventured out HWY 56 on the wrong day. HUGE storm came through, but NE isn't much better when I got back home we had tornadoes and all the other good stuff that comes with um, hail etc. In fact one of my co-workers had his (home) windows blown out and a section of his roof taken on Saturday. I guess this time of year you just can't get away from that stuff in the midwest.
