This is a long shot and I've got it posted in an ad with a laundry list of items, but I wanted to highlight this one since it's more critical.

I'm doing an Fj28 restoration, but the transmission is missing the entire e-brake assembly as well as the linkages that move the transfer case shift lever over to the left side. I don't think i'll find these pieces separately so I'm looking for the entire transmission if anybody has one or knows of one somewhere.

Any help or leads would be appreciated!

Yes, @tahoe40/45 bought the one I had listed. I have one other I need to track down. Transmission was left with cover off: solid lump of rust. Transfer I assume still has serviceable parts. No recollection what if any brake parts are or aren’t on it. May know more Wednesday.

i might be the perfect match for what’s left of that one then. I really don’t need an entire transmission just some of the parts. let me know if you track it down and can send some photos to see if the pieces I need are there. Basically these ebrake assemblies and the pieces that would allow me to move the transfer case lever back over to the driver side.

Pretty sure I know where a top cover is too.

If you’re still looking for an F135 engine, we should talk. A couple of years ago I purchased a factory replacement F135 engine (no serial number) that came out of a 1961 FJ40.

Looks like it’s got some of the tcase and ebrake pieces I’m missing, that’s great! I’ll give you a call today on this and the F135. Still need to get some of those door limiters too if you’ve still got them.
 
Per my signature line I am out of the office until Monday.
