I've emailed some more pics to Jim - hopefully he can post them up for me.
Does anyone have any links to UK suppliers of spares, or someone who can ship them to the UK? Before you ask I don't know what we need yet! Plenty of stripping down & welding to do in the meantime, though.
Thanks for all your interest.

Haven't seen them yet, I'll post them when I do. :)

Check out the parts number thread stuck at the top of the forum. If it's still available from Toyota you can get it locally. SOR ships overseas but I can't see it being worth it. Find out what you need first.........chances are no one has it anyhow.

See, there is no "bezel" around the head lights like an FJ40.

Electricals were 12V in the USA models but 6V was available elsewhere.

Mike,

Whats that black thing above the kick out vent in this pic? I also have a hole on mine right there but dont know what it is for?

You've probably forgotten me by now, but I'm back!
It's a long story, but we have finally dragged the
Land Cruiser out of its grave and emptied all the crap out of it. Get this though - pumped the tyres up, fitted a new battery, cleaned the points, poured some octane improver down the carb and after about 3 minuted cranking it fired - and ran beautifully]

Not suprising to the rest of us.. :grinpimp:

WOW  We need larger more detailed pics. It looks great.

i was told the 1962 FJ40 soft top version was an FJ25 tub. They were using up the leftover FJ25 parts. Can anyone verify that?

Gussie, just checking in.......
I never received the photos, if you want...........try again, or PM me I'll send you a different address.
