2x4's are so I can stretch a tarp over it with a little bow. Double sided vinyl tarp, unlike the canvas on the 25, which is currently being tested in a downpour...........three coats of canvak on it. I threw a tarp over it, keep myself in suspense for a little while.

loading up a transfer to sell and spare parts for the 25's. Meeting Jason and Mike in NE Connecticut tomorrow morning.

And all you guys know you have an open invitation, or is everyone waiting for me to make the rounds of North America first?

No problem here as long as the liquor cabinet is well stock I'm good.

I was hoping to retire in a couple of years and make the trek back east towing a FJ25 but between kids that can't seem grow up and the economy I probably add ten years to the retirement date:frown:

I'm still open to having everyone come to the cabin in the summer time. Then maybe head up to Moab. It's not even a full day drive away. :hhmm:In a FJ25 I guess it's a day and a half drive.:steer:

Our fall colors in rim country should only be a couple of weeks away. Only a short drive away from the cabin, mainly on forest service roads. Hoping this year to be driving something other than the FJ62. If not a FJ25 maybe my wife will let me drive her FJ40.

For those of you who don't remember or are new since Jim is our only moderator and will be away for a few days it's open season in the 25 section. It makes Jim feel wanted if he has to straighten up section when he gets back:rolleyes:

Party Time!!
Lets hop into this truck I found and drive thru the FJ25 section maybe we can do some wheelies in the classifieds section and donuts in the in the count thread...I'd take my cruiser...but...it's too slow (I only tread lightly with it :D) and since I've got the kids seats in the back...i could only fit one passenger :D

Fortunately I installed child monitors before leaving......45* and raining.....I can tell you that no amount of canvak will seal this top. 25's leading the trail again.

I kicking myself. I was searching for a yard yard in Northern AZ. I was there a few years back. Whiling being lsot I drove by a house that had a couple vehicle in the front yard. One was monster truck that had tall skinny tires maybe six feet tall. The other one was truck that had full tank tracks. I took a double take. It wasn't until I was driving back to the cabin I remembered my camera was in the center console:bang:

45* and raining? Probably a little warmer here at the cabin but we have had rain. Vinyl holding out the rain just fine. So any report from Mike on how the badger top is holding up?

You all don't know how hard and long I have worked for this shot, I am so happy! Back to work on Tuesday....

Looking good Phil, I know you have more toys to put in there and it looks like it has plenty of room.

My first 25 was bought from a guy who kept it in his rented hangar which was a big no no for him to store it there. That and his Porche and collection of vintage motorcycles. Felt bad storing outside under a tarp. Laast couple of years it st'e been stored in a garage in a better climit than the oven know as Phoenix.

I am so up all night over this. I got my butt kicked all over the mountain sky today, then drove the not as smooth 25....the hang time of gas/oil fumes in the hangar is phenomenal...life is good today.
