The FJ62 has been my wife's since 2005. Plan is a 1FZ-FE + A442F.

Take a pic where you cut/welded the frame. Any scab plates to hold it together?

There are no scab plates, it's internally-sleeved.

It's close, but the hood fits, and the exhaust can exit where it does on an 80 series.
Might have to go to an electric fan. We'll see.

But otherwise, it's almost like Mr. Toyota intended the 1FZ to fit the 60 series.

Decided to go with a H151 transmission, for way mo’ go. Found one in NJ out of a 2007 105 series, got the brother of an employee to drive from PA to NJ and take it to Fastenall.
