FJ cruiser toy car

G'day all AZAUSSIE'S WIFE here,
Anyone know where I may get an FJ Cruiser matchbox or hotwheels, car? My husband's birthday is coming up and he wants one, of course. . .not the toy, the real thing! Thought it would be a funny to give him a mini version. Thanks for any ideas .

As an avid toy car collector(hot Wheels), I too am curious as to what is going to be available. I don't forsee anything immediately, as the "Cruiser" world s rather small. But once people strart seeing these things on the street, demand for toys/models/replicas will arise, and I predict within 6 months we will see a few collectables/toys. As far as I know NOTHING collectablle/toy wise is available at this time.

i look at Johnny Lightning cars everytime im somewhere that they sell them since they make some of the better looking car models(like the two different 40s/42s) and they haven't had one yet and i haven't seen a FJ. i would assume the FJ might could be in the next run of hot wheels in the series 2006 or 2007 first additions. They always come out with one.

Auto Art has a 1/18 scale cruiser coming out and I read somewhere that Toyota was going to be giving these things away with the purchase of the real cruiser. You get the model to match your truck but I haven't seen any for sale as of yet.

Matchbox will not have one either...

Hmm.... Sounds like you have a little inside scoop on Mattel there. I never though the FJ55 would appeal to the go fastie bling bling Hot Wheels moniker.
