Wanted FJ/BJ40

Hi, new to this forum, but learning a lot already. I'm in search of a Land Cruiser.

Looking for a clean BJ/FJ40 (I'd prefer the diesel but I know they are rare). I'm not concerned about year or it being all original (I do want the hard top and doors). Looking for a daily driver so no big lift or crawler types and comfort mods are a bonus (PS, disc brakes, AC at the top of the list since I'm in Texas). I don't mind paying for shipping for the right truck. I'm most concerned about rust (aren't we all) so I'd be willing to look at trucks that need a little mechanical work to get moving if it's clean. Interior is not critical either. I'm in the DFW area. Willing to spend up to 10k, but might go over if the perfect truck comes along (frame off in the last 10 years BJ40 with disc brakes, AC and ambulance doors for example). Drop me a PM, Thanks! I have an 05 F150 extended cab with about 77k miles that I would trade straight up for the right BJ/FJ. It's rhino lined in the bed, new rotors on the front about 2k miles ago. After market radio with bluetooth connectivity. Texas Edition (still not sure what that gets you beyond 2 tone paint).

I also have an untitled (long story, just a bill of sale) 1962 Scout 80. Little to no rust, just needs clutch master/slave work to move. Complete truck with the top, and all the glass. Previous project that I lost interest in.

Here are some pics of the Scout 80. Very clean especially for a 62. I have the bumper, just not attached at the moment. The brackets in the back are for the sliding glass door windows.

Any feedback on my request? Am I way off base?

I found an FJ40.

The F150 and Scout are still for sale. I'm working on getting a title for the Scout to make it a bit more attractive. Thanks for looking.
