Well after not running for two years, finally got to start up the 2UZ in the FJ40. Still have to finish the cooling system so did not run it for long.

Shifters and boot installed, knob labels are upside down of course.

Fixed the starter issue and found where the ball bearings belong.
Glad ya got it fixed. Seeing the light at the end if the tunnel!

Rebuilding the Dana 60:
Replaced the inner axle seals, which called for pulling the diff. Found out that the front has 4.88 gears, now I have to double check the rear thought it had 4.56's. Installed a new pinion seal along with Toyota to Dana flange. A little more cleaning and painting left.

Front end is back together with new seals, wheel bearings, spicer Ujoints, some fresh paint. Counted the pinion rotation and looks like both axles have 4.56,s

Started beefing up the steering box brace, the new one is 3/8's angle iron. Finished installing some LED pod backup lights.

Got the steering box back from West Texas Off road with a Redneck ram kit. Also modified a Tacoma PSC pump and reservoir to work on a 2UZ block.

Fixed video setting.

GM master cylinder and a proptional valve installed, then finished up brakeline. Also had USA Driveline build some driveshafts using some mini truck CV joints.
