I have a 2006 FJ-100 and recently I noticed that the molding on the Rear Quarter Windows where cracked on both driver and passenger sides.
Can you guys check to see if you have the same issue and report back?

Thanks in advance,

Manny

. . . you mean this isn't a feature on every LC? . . .

Someone take a picture as either I don't know what the hell y'all are describing or I don't have any cracks. :hillbilly:

Mine has cracks on both sides. Is there an issue with this causing any problems or is this just a poll?

Thanks for the pic. I was looking in the right spot, just don't have any yet. Knock on mud...

It might not be on everyone but it is on alot, make that most, of the ones that I see in mall parking lots. Don't bother looking into replacing yours unless you are ready to spend over $1k and potentially creating a few rattles as you have to rip out almost the entire rear interior to get to them.

That piece of trim is $1k? Is the per side or for a set?

Mine were replaced twice by the dealership, once becasue of the cracks and a 2nd time because of the poor workmanship on the Glass Etching of the VIN, it was not the dealership but the distributor.
But guess what, after a year or so, they cracked again! I guess it is a feature.

Small crack drivers side on mine. Had to go look after reading this, but must admit I'd not noticed it previously.
