I checked with the local dealer and his price is around $600. BTW the correct name is Anti-Lock Brake Actuator/Pump assembly.

just checked with c-dan. this part is over $1,000 even at the MUD price. looks like i am going to bleed bleed bleed...

So, where is the ABS pump anyway? I've not been there done or even seen that.

My ABS light came on today.

did you pull the codes yet? i bet it tells you is the sensors. i am very curious. FWIW i bought a new harness and front sensors, it didnt fix it. replaced the rear sensors with used ones from cruiser parts... it didnt fix it.

i am wondering if that damn actuator that is over $1,000 is throwing the ABS light and causing the soft brakes:mad::mad:

did your brakes feel better with the new 100 series pads? i have new pads and rotors coming from CDAN this week. i am going to get some OEM rotors on there and get rid of the slotted drilled rotors

The new pads and calipers up front definitely helped the stopping. I haven't pulled the codes yet that is on today's list. I'll post back later with what I find out. I dod think it's strange that the day after a caliper replacement the ABS comes on but things to happen.

i have a 80 in my work shop at the moment and have this spongy low pedal issue aswell it has new brakes new master cylinder and abs pump/control unit it has been bleed many times and all fluid replaced anyone had this problem and how did you solve it

"pad slap" never bleed the brakes, just squeeze the pistons back. If you must bleed, never move the petal down more then two inches/normal use. Bottom the petal out=buy a master cylinder. Bench bleed and in spec, those words always make me laugh.

Did you bleed it from all 5 points?
