well... finally broke down and bought a 100... my wife is driving her daily... Black 99' with rear lockers and nice tan interior 122,000 miles on 285's... have to admit after just driving her the 4 hours home that a new world has been discovered... compared to ol Salt (94') she's a veritable carpet ride and the amenities are shamefully sweet... will post pick sometime but cool to be on this board and learn some new things about the new toy... my wife is tickled with it, maybe not so tickled with my time consumption studyin' up though :D

Congrats on the new truck. Of all the Series 100 variations the Black '99 is the one to get IMHO

Congrats. You'll love it more every day. Btw, why do people say "lockers?" You have just one rear locking differential...maybe it's a slang thing meh

Did you buy the one from Shrier by chance? I looked at the white 05 quite extensively but it just needed too many things to justify the $27,000 price he was pretty much unwilling to budge from. Congrats on the new truck at any rate.

Because there are two select-able locking differentials on board.

True, true. The 200 has been out for awhile now, how many series do we need after us before the leave the Series 100 forum in peace and go make fun of the XYZ series? Is it our duty to abuse the 200 forum? Are we getting it done?

didn't even realize i said it that way really, duh... to be sure it only has one locker on the rear, just used to saying the plural because of my 94' being a 3X beast tractor :smokin:

i did get my baby from shreir auto... had a couple of issues, but to find a rust free model here in iowa is impossible... my 94' is the sweets but RUSTY and i wanted a clean 100 to inherit when the wife gets her 2008' in a couple of years... i did the 100,000 fix up overboard as well as fixing a couple of obvious things to tighten her up a bit... i will forever hold it against myself for not having a 100 before now... pure roadtripping pleasure for the whole family...

at this point, i need a DVD install and at least $6,000 bucks worth of slee and other stuff before i'm gonna be completely cool... i think my wife likes it more than i, but having two cruisers to screw with is making her nervous

i don't mind the banter, by the way, it's one of the reasons i like this forum... too much seriousness makes people annoying... besides, with what i do ya get enough of serious... wow looking at the date on that last post just now... i need to come on more often, which always tips the wife to a new expenditure she doesn't approve of
