How do I disable the crazy horn from waking all my neighbors when I unlock the LC?

Is there a way to disable the horn when arming and disarming the alarm or disabling the factory alarm altogether?

I'm living in a fairly compact set of condos and the horn on this thing could wake the dead.

Solved!

While hunting around I found the security alarm module under the drivers seat. Good thing the sticker was still somewhat legible. "Horn Defeat" engaged

For anyone hunting for the solution. Under the drivers seat is the alarm control. the easiest access for me was from the back seat (though still pretty cramped). The second opening to the right (facing the back seat) will have an indented little switch. move it to the other position. My written diagram on the module indicated I should move to the right.. this actually engaged the horn. So on mine, the left position was the "horn defeat" mode.

All is silent now, just flashing lights

LOL - original owner of a '94 and I've never known you could have a horn on with the alarm. Mine must have been off from purchase new. Factory alarm or aftermarket?
