I picked up a 15 GX in late January. IPrior to this, I had a 4Runner that I purchased as a daily once we returned to office after Covid. At the start of Covid, I sold my daily driver and would use my 95 Bronco if needed.
When I started looking for a GX, I didnt have too many requirements other than interior color. I like the light interiors, but on a lot of the used ones, I noticed the seats were all dirty. I ended up settling on a white with black interior. It had 106K miles on it. I got it from Sewell. In looking at the records, it does not look to have had the valley pan redone yet. I am keeping an eye on coolant level, etc. It did have a radiator replaced about 3K miles before I purchased it. Most of the service work appears to have been done at Sewell Lexus locally. In hindsight, I should have only looked at ones that had the valley pan work already completed. I guess I will deal with that when it happens.
So far I have swapped the grille, swapped the interior lights for LED's and added Bilstein 5160's up front, Dobisons 1 inch springs in the rear with Bilstein 6100 shocks. I swapped the wheels and put 265 / 70 Wildpeak AT3's. I think the offset is -10. I had Tandem near Fort Worth do the suspension and alignment. I can not recommend them enough. They were great. Next on the list is a roof rack and rock sliders. I don't do a ton of off roading, but we do frequent Big Bend and this last time around, I was unsure about our Subie's ability on some of the state park trails.
