I have a new to me 2018 GX that’s “Lexus certified” still under oem warranty barely (48,000 miles). I lifted it and put on 285/70r18 immediately. I have 4 free Lexus services built into my price. I basically bought the truck, lifted it myself, got new wheels and tires, alignment, and did a SC to Moab and back off-roading/interstate tour. I’ve already checked the air filters and they seem fine. I also lowered the headlamps myself.
Taking it in for the first scheduled service. I’m gonna ask them to program the remote for windows down when holding unlock, and scrutinize their work afterwards (loose bolts, leaks, and spills around the skid). Is there anything else I should get checked specifically or ask about? It is a one owner local vehicle with no rust, leaks, and most of the maintenance done at this same dealership.
I love it and everything seems great. Just wanna make sure there’s no hiccups before it goes out of oem warranty.

I think the thing to keep an eye out for is the timing cover leak, spark plug gasket leak, and the coolant valley leak.

Here are a couple of good threads that list some of the common issues with the GX460

Known GX460 issues - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-2nd-gen-2010-present/892605-known-gx460-issues.html (this link is in the ih8mud thread above)

Looks like Imogene pass in your 4th picture.

Ok thanks. I will review these issues myself. I did look for some of this at purchase time.
It is Ophir Pass, I loved that drive. Imogene is still on the list as it wasn’t opened yet when I was touring CO.

The service went well. They programmed my key fob and did a really nice video explanation of what they did. Even detailing the inspection and check on the underside of the vehicle. My representative was all about the GX having a built 470 himself and seemed to enjoy talking about the platform. They even noted that they made sure my suspension components were tight since they noted it was freshly installed. Overall I was pleasantly surprised. Also ran out to a nearby Jewish bagel shop while they did the maintenance, yum. I have 3 more pre-purchased dealer maintenances. I’ll definitely go back to use them again.
This is Lexus of Greenville SC. So far impressed compared to the Toyota experiences I had from two dealers in town on my Tundra. Video from the service:

Garlic pastrami omelette bagel, and awesomely fresh smooth coffee.
