Look into where that strip came off. You should be able to see 4 rivets. You shouldnt see glue in the pillar channel.

The bug is whats printed on the glass to identify it. Usually in the driver or passenger lower corner.

I would be shocked if tthe glass is original.

Looks like this is where a rivet was supposed to be and I also found that there was a windshield replacement in 2022 by a mobile auto glass company.

@diesel22 yeah, windshield replacements in our 100s are kind of (definitely) a bit of (giant) hassle (pain in the ass). Finding a shop that has the preferred glass AND is familiar with the rivets AND has the rivets is the first battle. I just had the glass replaced in my 100. That was the 3rd time for me and I'm the second owner. I bought the truck when it was 4-yrs-old with 39,000 miles, so maybe it was still on the first windshield.

After countless calls to glass shops - most of whom said they couldn't get the glass (or were too lazy to find it) - I ended up back at Safelite. The guy there was a pro. He explained a lot of what I'd read here: 100 Series Windshields. He added that once screws have been used, rivets are likely not going to work. He also added that once the holes get to a certain size, the rivets that match the OD don't fit the space - I don't remember if was referring to the depth needed, or the flange diameter.

Oh, what pic were you referring to?
Looks great on that BAT photo!

Thank you for this I am going to swing into my local Safelite once it is dry out again. Sorry I saw this photo when you commented originally I thought and it looked like a BAT photo. Where did you find this beauty w/ 39k miles!?

Would love to see some more pics of yours! Still rocking the cross bars? Looks great on that BAT photo!

That pic was taken by a friend of mine (he's a pro) who was shooting a few Land Cruisers for ACC. And it was close to 15 years ago. She's changed a little since then. Not a ton - suspension, wheels, bumper, rack, sliders, etc., Biggest changes are the miles, scratches and worn leather, carpet, etc. It's time to do some refreshing.

Sorry to bother again but I would like to look into getting these parts. Any chance you can list the part number (s) instead of the link since it isn’t working? Thank you!
Curious indeed!

Thank you! I found them all, it looks like the last two have the same description but different PN, assuming one is for the front and one is for the rear?

How long did it take you to do this? Wondering what I should estimate for someone else to do this for me.

Kicking this back up again @willyroo - the dealer had my cruiser and is estimating about $750 to so this work with my parts, saying the differential has to come out for one of the bushings. Their top mechanic is quite good as I understand it and has experience with 100s but wanted to double check here - is this far off base? I was understanding this was a pretty simple job?
