Went to Ouray, Co and did some trails. Amazingly, the beast did wonderful and had no problems with the 570 miles there, offroading and then driving the 570 back. An amazing truck!

All of those mountain passes and no overheating! She sure loved that cool mountain air though. The temp gauge was nice and low all week until we got back in Navajo land on the way home- it just started rising.

Good truck- good trip.

Looks like fun, nice pics and nice rig!

Oh yea- I love the lowest gear! I was going down those steep grades and if I put it in the lowest gear it would just crawl down- seemingly not aware of gravity and momentum. That and sometime with the X, I would have it to gas it to get up stuff and the cruiser will just crawl- never slipping.

I do miss some of the comfort features that come with a newer vehicle- maybe the worrying about if the old girl is going to make it, but I just renewed my AAA membership so rock on! :bounce2:

Yep- as usual, you were right. (I'll give you a call this week with an update- we're not far away now!)

No Black Bear for me this year Lee- had to get back home so I missed a few days of trails. I was a little nervous about that anyway, but then I remembered those big pickup/ people haulers did it with that wedding party so we should be fine.
