Thought I would share a few pics of a (what I think) is a 45. I will be passing by this truck in a week or so and will see if I can snap a pic of the VIN (maybe better pics as well :D )

The fire truck setup looks to be home made and "legend" has it that it has not really worked.

Cant remember but... my buddy said it has dual transmission or x-cases (pic below)

From what I can see it looks to be a 63 or 64 fixed top swb fj45,is this in the Sc mountains? Would love to see this creation!

I'm in!

Would love to see more, is it just sitting or possibly for sale?

Ultimate ranch fire truck

Awesome. I will get some more pics if I get to the truck in the daylight.

The location is top secret :D

More pics to come.

I believe your comments about a "ranch fire truck" are why it was purchased. From my understanding, the owner has no intention of selling it and not really sure if it is actually used or not.

My curiosity is around the dual transmissions (I believe that is how its setup... hard for me to tell in the dark and from the pic)

Damon, let me know when the rescue mission starts.

Steve

If there ever is a rescue mission... I will be sure to let you know. Not likely though.

Great job on the recent projects by the way!

The rear trans is an original top shift 3 spd! I am not sure what is in front but it might be a non original engine and trans adapted to the 3 spd, very interesting and some thought went into it! More pics and history would be great...

What ever happened with this one? Did you get any more info on it?
