couple more shots

Took it out to Death Valley last week, everything worked fine. The lid is lifted by a ram powered by the two 6volt battery's in the nose box. there are LED lights on all four corners and inside the box. The ram is something you would find lifting a lid on a large boat motor cover...got it on ebay for a hundred bucks. I also have compressed air inside.

Guess I'm not quite done, still have to sand the inside and Line X it.......
 
Nice job! So is the ram an electro-hydraulic unit? Brand? I've been thinking about something similar for my KK trailer...just not familiar with the unit you are using. But it certainly looks like it might work! Any info would be appreciated.

Yes....google Lenco hatch lifts then you probably can find one on ebay
 
Looks great! Never stops to amaze me those before and after pics!

PS. Im glad Im not the only one here with a JK! ;)
