Ridiculous name aside.. does anyone run these on a 95% on-pavement truck?

Id really like to know how they sound on the hwy.

I like the shape of the treads a lot, and really like the pricetag. I did a search and found very mixed reviews.

They don't make alot of noise at all. A friend of mine has them on a 1999 Dodge 2500 diesel, the truck used to be mine, and it has ALOT of of upgrades which doesn't help the tire life, and he runs the crap out of it. He drives it everywhere, pulls heavy trailers all the time, truck pulls, off roads, ect. He has had 2 sets and loves them. The only downfall that I see is that they don't last as long as I would like.... I want to say around 30k miles maybe a couple thousand more, but with the above considered thats not to bad. I think for 285/75/16 he pays $800/set.
AND I hate that they have barbed wire on the sides, I wouldn't put them on for that reason :D

Think Duratrac but without the extra reinforcement on the inside

Sent from my phone so excuse errors please - using IH8MUD

I always see people refer to the duratracs when talking about these, but besides being made by Goodyear, do they really share ANYTHING with the duratracs? They look completely different, not like the Kelly Safari TSR's.

I've had them for several years now on my 80 series. They Wear well, Show little tread wear. Relatively quiet, and very impressed. Reviews on line show ppl getting 55 k miles on them. I expect same out of mine.

I run the 17" on my 07' Taco, and sadly I am a 95% on road and daily driver. Have about 15K on them now and noise is increasing. I do pull an RV in the summer into the mnts. Tires have done well for dirt, old logging roads, and have had them in 18" snow. No problems except I don't get off road enough.
