I have a few scares but saw worse. Tell us about your damage and solutions

mine:

pie plate size dent just aft of the gas flap on the driver side, off camber slide into a tree

candy striped rear drive shaft on some low life rock some where. Removed it for the trip home.

Friday saw a broken center pin on my drivers side rear spring pack.
I had a spare in the toolbox so my brother inlaw jumped in and we
replaced it. Cause is loose u-bolts.
Came off a rock and slid into a tree and folded the passenger side front
fender under smashing the turn signal. We just pulled it back out and drove on.
Solution is a better driver or tube fenders. (I'm thinking tube fenders!)
Blew a fuse (I think during the above incedent) which caused a light failure
while driving back to camp in the dark!

Saturday was the big break day with the failure of the front frame and spring perch.
Drove it home and have already made arrangements to have it fixed.

A good weekend!

dislodged some gunk from my fuel tank (i think) and it's causing issues with my carb. Changing the fuel filter and cleaning the carb this week. No biggie

A few pinstripes in my $48 rattlecan paintjob. No biggie.

Broken wiper switch!!!! Need to figure out how to re-secure that switch behind the panel. :pig:

broke a rear shackle (thanks Kina for Frankie's to get me home. and it seems my dual battery switch needs looking at. all in all very minor stuff.

Saturday, 5pm
after deciding to head back to camp, climbed last obstacle to have passenger hub shear all studs and pop into woods, oh joy

couple new scratches...

about 16" long of rain gutter on the hard top, damaged. (i though i was going to break the fiber top on this one). Messed up my left front fender. and broke a rear right tail light cover. But it drove like a Cadi back to Montreal.!

Sliced front Pass side sidewall on an SX. And a nasty head cold now.

Matt toasted the power steering pump in the buggy.

Major transmission leak due to an unfriendly rock

Dont!! I had a blast. Not a big deal. Thanks again for guiding us. Need to dig around and find out exactly what's happening

define "scratches"

Update-

my wiggly driveshaft loosened almost every bolt on the transfer case which caused the leak.. one bolt actually fell out! Tightened them up and threw some sand on the ground spillage to cover my tracks. New drive shaft being ordered tomorrow

tweaked lower control arm, good excuse to order up some HD ones:p

Ordered new shackle perches from RuffStuff last night.
When those get here the truck goes to Mazerolle Custom Works for the repair.
Josh does very nice work, he and his buddy were the guys who helped Nate out
on Saturday.

Kept my exhaust, that's 3 years in a row!

Pushed in the passengers side of my front bumper and scratched the passenger rear quarter (it now matches the drivers side).

I can't wait to see the video that was taken at FnF.
