i have a 83 FJ60 and i cannot find fender flares who can tell me where to find some for cheap???

depends on what you mean by "cheap".

$100 = no way hose'
$200 = you might be struck by lightning first
$300 = getting warmer
$350 = typical used price, cheap
$400 = good deal
$400+.....sad truth

It has been discussed many times on the board.

SOR has fender flares but be prepared to pay a $100 bucks a corner. I have heard so-so feed back regarding the quality.

i have been looking for some of these too and have only found the three links now listed as possibles for a decent set that is not just made of rubber hose.

it is possible to have these molded out of some of the same plastic material that is now used in boats for some of the accessories they used to be made of fiberglass. i used to have a contact for one of the manufacturers but can not find it. if anyone knows of someone who is molding center consoles, side consoles, or what ever out of this stuff please reply. it is fabulous material and is virtually unbreakable (unlike fiberglass). It comes in every color in the rainbow. To manufacture something custom like fender flares, the molders need to have a plug to make the mold from. after that they can knock these things out and I am positive the cost would be far less than $ 466, $ 469 or $ 500 per set.

I definately agree. $400 gets you pretty close to buying an ausse locker if I'm not mistaken.

how much? or pm if you want. if you are importing, this would be a nice thing. The only place i found a used aftermarket set was cruiseroutfitters for $350.

in some states it is illegal for the tires to extend beyond the fender wells... there are some very dedicted law enforcement personnel out there.
