Note the "feeler" verbiage.

I do not need to complete any of mine, since I've a stockpile of decent used for the '71, if it ever gets built, keeping as much of the original '72 intact, as possible, and the '76s are in great shape.

Attempting to minimize current pig parts footprint, along with recoup monies invested, to reallocate to either of the current builds that are both extremely over budget.

These were listed on the handwritten ticket from 1995, to be for a '78.

They're still crated from when I purchased, so I've never laid eyes on, but will before any transactions occur.

Before I take any flack over price, it wasn't that many months ago that a set sold on eBay for ~$1,300.00, being the only other set I've seen in however long I've been perusing eBay and classifieds here on a daily basis.

Freight on a similar sized items was ~$200 to the left coast, based on Uship bids, requiring drop off at a local common carriers terminal, which I'd be happy to do to facilitate a deal.

Not quoting freight. Figure $200 and it it's less, everyone's happy. If it's more, it won't be by much.

Is what it is....

Boy oh Boy!

It's amazing what's still out there. I have friend who has a lot of OEM 40 body parts from the eighties, stuffed away. Someday.

Best of luck and that's not a bad price for what it is.

I have too much stuffed away and need to reclaim the space for revenue generation, the demand typically beginning late February to early March, so liquidating what I don't "need".

Sold the '78 tailgate, that was originally purchased with these to another, less vocal Mudder, whose doing a late restoration, and Tucker wound up the the tag lights for it, so these remain from that purchase.

Rather see it all used than to sit in my storage, plus I'm seeing daylight on what is necessary to complete my endeavors, so want to liquidate what I'm not.

Don't think they'll sell here, but wanted to list here first.

I'm sure I'll regret, but two continuing builds both demand massive infusions of cash.

I'm so far over the anticipated on the '72 it ain't even funny, and never even planned the '76, but it's been underway, as far as parts acquisitions, for some time, so time to dwindle to stockpile, since the Three Pigs are about all I can see handling for the foreseeable future.

Small steps to recover from the NOS parts addiction I've acquired.

How quickly are you looking to unload them. Mine are 80% bondoed and I'm pretty sure Bob's patches aren't going to be tall enough. I haven't had a chance to really see if they are worth salvaging. I've been looking at SOR's fiberglass upper and lower fenders but haven't seen any feedback on those to see if they are a viable option. So.. I'm interested but, like most, a little short on cash at the moment. Would you be interested in letting some used uppers go as well?

Yes on used uppers, since I have a fair set removing from the '72 and a good set that I purchased from Cruiser Corps for a mint, in retrospect.

Since there's room in the crate, I'd imagine a package deal could be struck.

As for timeline, I don't have a predetermined timeframe before they're listed elsewhere or determined to be hoarded, but I don't foresee these moving quickly here, so betting plenty exists.

I will wind up with a used pair of upper and lowers, the extent of the rot undetermined, as of yet, since I'm unsure what'll be kept for the possible '71 build.

If it's determined that the '71 body shell isn't salvageable for the chop, then the fenders I plan to use for it, that were in kick ass shape until I dented one, will be available, and for substantially less than what NOS commands.

I have a metric chit ton of used parts that I won't need and would love it if they went to deserving Pigs, but have had limited time to inventory and even when I commit to giving away, I usually wind up failing to get them packaged ( which takes a ton of time and money on large stuff ) or shipped in a reasonable amount of time.

A while back I thought I saw someone on the Pirate site who was fabbing some out of India?, but I think that must have died due to lack of demand. Anyway, I'm going to be in need of upper and lowers in the future. Let me know when you are thinking of putting those or any others up for sale. Maybe the timing will be right for both of us.

I thought it was Pakistan, they were craftsmen for sure, don't know how many people got them though. They were welding and grinding in sandals...

BARTER? Thanks Bob.

Bob,

My intentions are to roll any recouped monies back into the '76, but I will be in need of a few product offerings, so could see some form of trade being possible.

I don't know what exactly I need, yet, is the only problem.

Assuming your intentions may be to replicate, I'm certain we could figure out a means to get these to you for take-off.

Chris
