February Wheeling Trip (1 Viewer)

We've discussed doing a wheeling trip now it's time to make it happen.

Which weekend next month would everyone want to go? Do we want to do Marble Falls or try somewhere else? Who wants to camp and who wants to day trip it?


We can do the weekends of the 4th and the 18th. Otherwise Ill go with what everyone else wants

I am in any weekend in Feb. For me it would just be a day trip and I would sign up for the pansy trails since my LX is still bumper less, on street tires, no lockers, and I have never wheeled it.

Ryan you can handle the harder trails as is. If a 100 series could get thru than yours can.

I really need a night of camping. I hear they have lifted the burn ban so a nice campfire is an option. Post when you guys are going. No promises but I'll probably be in for Saturday night camping.

There are many clubs going on feb. 18th. Robert will be there with the boys while I'm throwing a baby shower for my BFF....if the buggy is fixed by then.

TTORA is going to be at Marble Falls Feb 3 thru Feb 5.
I will be there on the 4th for the day... need to head back for Super Bowl Sunday at my friends house.

Since this looks like a go when & where does eveyone want to meet? Does the majority want to caravan up together Saturday morning? Who can bring firewood etc.?

If my daughter doesn't have a game that morning, I'll be leaving around 8:00 a.m. If she does, I'll leave right after her game (early afternoon). I'll be camping and will bring some firewood.

Oh, if you have a CB radio, bring it. The little hand held FRMS radios suck. Trust me on this.

Hey folks! I'm in for the 18th with my FJC (Bart just helped me get my Icon stage 1 installed), and a co-worker with a Jeep Rubicon is interested in going as well (please give him a hard time about his heep . We'll probably be ready to head up in the 8am vicinity as well, so if there's a group meeting at the Starbucks at 281 & TPC/Stone Oak, we can meet y'all there.

I got the buggy fixed so I'll be there. Jen's throwing the shower so she'll be in Austin and the dad to be will be with me wheeling, along with my buddy Wes in his 1 ton v-8 jeep. I also got an invite for a get together from a bunch of the FJ Cruiser guys who will be there that same weekend wheeling and partying. Not sure if well camp in B or in Area 51, depends where they will stay.

Oh, I'll be driving in from Austin Saturday morning so no caravan for me.
