Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that between the orders here and my other orders, we have 26 total, so the Group Buy pricing is official!

As promised, if we get 24 more people to place an order, there's another price break.

I'm in for two flood pods, but I'll probably add to my order before the deadline.

Do you have any flood pods in stock for immediate shipping? I'd like to check them out up close and personal before ordering more.

Order added. PM sent.

Depends on what light you're looking at.

ES Series- Hardened Glass
XT Series- Polycarbonate

Thanks,
I wish it was the other way around. The poor thing would die where I live with whats spread all over the road.

Sorry, ForealBoreal.

I'll let my OEM know of this request. Sounds like it would benefit lots of folks.

Are all the Trek Pods Hardened Glass? Thx.

Hey Daniel,

The TrekPod Mono XT is hardened glass.

All of the other TrekPods are a Plexiglass type material.

Is that one more of a spot or flood (TrekPod Mono XT)? Thx!

We sell both, but I'd recommend the 8 degree spot.

Ok then please add 3 TrekPod Mono XT's to my order (2-flood, 1-8 deg spot). Thx!

Done.

I'm real interested in a 22 incher; what are the mounting options for the center tabs on an ARB? I've seen people drill into the crossbar, but I'd like to avoid that if possible.

Actually that measurement is the top tabs on my tacoma arb bumper.

I measured the center tabs on the arb at about 19 inches... is that going to work?

Guys, you'll have to excuse my idiocy.

I was messing around with an XT Series TrekLight Bar today and found out that the mounting points DO in fact slide from side to side!

Here is the mounting width range for the XT Series TrekLights:

4" TrekLight XT: One mounting point (can be moved all the way left or all the way right along the bar).

6.5" TrekLight XT: One mounting point (can be moved all the way left or all the way right along the bar).

9" TrekLight XT: One mounting point (can be moved all the way left or all the way right along the bar).

12" TrekLight XT: 1.5" apart to 8.75" apart

18" TrekLight XT: 1.5" apart to 14.75" apart

22" TrekLight XT: 1.5" apart to 18.75" apart

36" TrekLight XT: 1.5" apart to 32.75" apart

You should be able to just barely get away with it.

There's a little bit of play when the mounting points are on either end of the bar, so mounting to 19" holes should take up the last of that slack.

My purchase with pictures

I Promised pictures a week ago but ended up with a water problem in the house. I've been a little delayed.

To review I purchased:

  • 7.5 inch light bar
  • 8 degree pod
  • 40 degree pod

This is how it they look against my low beams. I chose low beams as it would show the difference. In all photo's my low beams were on in addition to a single Trek light.

low beams (camera's automatic focus had trouble with the low light conditions) (no focus problems when the lights were turned on)

Narrow Pod

Wide Pod (camera didn't capture the spread very well but the image was brighter still)

Output is very good especially when combined with my regular lights.

Cheers John

It looks like between here and Tacoma World 25 people have already confirmed. What is the price break for 50?

We've been over 25 for a couple days now. I made an announcement when we broke the threshold.

I'll have to work out the discount with my OEM once we get closer to 50 orders. That way I can go back to them with a ball park dollar figure and see what they can do for us.

I'll let you know as soon as I know :)
