Some aftermarket stuff is the same as oem. Some is not and quality varies. I replaced my rear main on my 80 series with a aftermarket seal that was half the price of oem. Matched it up with old oem seal-exactly the same. El cheapo motor mounts I bought aftermarket from same online company-exactly the same as oem with Toyota numbers on them. I asked a buddy about them, he said,"oh yea thats who makes Toyota's mounts." It's taken trial and error to learn what's good or not so good for me. As far as bushings go, some of the failures may have been how they were installed, or they may be lower quality.

Agree up to certain extend if it is manufactured by the same OEM supplier to Toyota. Keep in mind china made parts can be exactly the same in appearance as OEM parts as well. But be careful, another example: the aftermarket AC condenser from Denso is not the same Denso condenser in Toyota box. One is made in Indonesia and one is in Japan. Big difference in quality and QA, bought the aftermarket Denso, compare side to side and ended up returning it. Again my original Condenser is fine thought I will replace a new one after 17 yrs. And still working today after 20 yrs :) It is very tricky in the parts business as the competition is so intense. Same oem supplier parts may not be the same parts. And aftermarket price point is so attractive most buyer will go for it. Who needs part that last 20 yrs when fraction of that is good enough for most as many people doesn't keep their vehicles for long. :)

I had good results with anchor engine mounts. 5 years on the original and all is still good.

Not bad if it absorb the same amount of vibration as the Toyota mount.

i installed febest (to save a few $$) in july 1014 after 2 failures replaced them all with TOYOTA 48702-60050 in April 2017. NOT wasting my time with fecrap again. factory bushing and some sort of caster correction welding/plates/drop brackets have proven to be the best option from what i have experienced/seen.

Just a little update on these bushings after 2 years and about 25k mileage. Wheel the rig hard and none of the bushing are ripped or needed to be replaced.

I hit this thread while looking for reviews on FeBest. They're now selling Lexus calipers. Anyone with updates? Or are you all dead from catastrophic FeBest failures?

I just wanted to do a review after 3 months of wheeling for these bushings. I installed eBay rocar/front and febest rear bushings and so far I've seen good results. After 6 trips of wheeling hard the bushings are in great shape. I just wanted to tell you guys as no one has mentioned these bushings.

Although Rocar has had great reviews on the 100 forum.

I installed Febest upper and lower control arm bushes to my 100 series, got it all aligned and set off for a trip around Australia, doing a few thousand kms on corrugated dirt roads in the process. 10,000kms into the trip it was pretty evident that the upper control arm bushes had completely failed. I could see the negative camber on the wheels, the steering was vague due to the toe out. I was able to stuff some rubber hose into the bushes and adjust the toe in to get me home. Removing the control arms once I was home revealed that many of the bushes where metal on metal. I have never had any aftermarket part fail so quickly. Yes the Toyota genuine parts cost about 7x more, don't even waste your time with this Febest garbage. The lowers don't appear too bad but I am yet to remove these as it is bigger job to replace these.
