My 5th Gen 4Runner was sold at the beginning of November, and 6 weeks later I brought home this beast!

I can't believe I am going to say this, especially considering some of the legitimately fast cars I have had in the past, but I am surprised what an extra 110 hp, 125lbft, 2 cylinders and 1 gear will do to a truck that weighs 1100 pounds more. Relatively speaking, it is a rocket ship. (or conversely, the 4runner was glacially slow and criminally underpowered.) I feel like I can actually merge onto a highway at the appropriate speed now.. Which is nice..
Anyways, My Goal for this massive family hauler is to be able to take it on any trail I could get my 4runner up. I figure that will mean:
First off,,, Oh look, That is why I get people flashing their brights at me so much... LED headlights... (that seem to not be made for the OEM reflectors because they shine all over... I'll google these and figure out what they are this afternoon..
Oh, and look here,,, I thought this was sitting rather high... I'm guessing this is the ready-lift pucks? Not ideal, but I'll wait until I need new shocks to do a lift properly... I'd rather put that cash toward a rear locker anyways.. #lockersbeforelightbars
Step 1, get rid of the 20in wheels that stick out 2 inches past the fender... For now, I'll put some Blizzacks on a pair of Tundra wheels I scored from craigslist..
WHY? WHY? WHY do people put big wheels with small tires and purposely fit them so poorly? It's a shame because I kinda like the way they look..
These will be for sale on craigslist shortly..
Now that it is in my driveway (won't fit in my garage with the ski box on..) I've got some work to do and I am looking for recommendations..
First I'm looking for recommendations for some sliders for a Sequoias. Is weld on the only option? (my welding skills are poor, really the best beads I can lay down are of the JB variety.. But I will tell you what, I have fixed some sketchy s*** with JB weld, and that has actually held up pretty well.. the secret is all in the surface prep!)
What are you guys running for sliders? Have you been happy with them?

- some much larger tires than the 33s I had the T4R to make up for a longer wheelbase and crap approach and departure angles...
- And no fancy A-trac or anything so a bare minimum will be adding a Locker or mechanical LSD to the diffs... ( From what I can tell, There is a rear e-locker on the market, and anything from a Tundra or 200 series LC will fit the front diff????)
- And then armor everywhere.. Skids as far back as I can get them to go... big sliders,,,
- and some front and rear bumpers and winch eventually.
- And some sway bar quick disconnects.
