Fan noise

So I think my engine is (roaring) more than usual it seems. You really notice it at slower speeds. If you give it a little gas it sounds like a big blower has turned on under the hood. I'm starting to question my sanity here as I do smoke some grass lol

Fan clutch is probably done and permanently engaged. Relatively cheap part and easy to replace (from what I have read).

Bought this for my 07 LX. not sure if it will fit your older LC. 88 dollar part. If you order, consensus is to get a AISIN brand.

mine does that too. easy gas going slow in first gear and I get a big blowing sound from under the hood. I always thought it was normal. What is the risk level if this clutch gets locked up?

I think I am in the same boat and will need to pick up a fan clutch. I just thought that fan is loud it must be really efficient. No wonder they use 100 in the Kalahari.
