FALL CRAWL CLCC food/cooking thread

We discussed this at the October meeting and since there are approximately 15 sleeps until Fall Crawl I figure I'd get this started.

I plan on arriving in the early afternoon on Thursday. I'm thinking of making a vat of chili.
So we need to eat dinner Thurs and Fri right? Let's hear what you got. (Those brats were damn good at CMCC)

ALSO How many CLCC folks do we think will attend? Skrewball?

all the food was amazing at CMCC.
I'll be convoying out with Matt early Friday morn.
Seems like there is always LOTS of food.
I haven't made food plans yet, and can make/bring whatever is needed.

Alright! that's a good number to plan for, since registration closed yesterday. I'm planning on a dutch oven treat... No, that doesn't mean I'm gonna fart in each of your sleeping bags. Although I just might. Don't worry, I smell like roses.

Where is it leaking?

I think it's leaking around the drain bolt. It's not leaking that much so it may be wicking throw a rusted area. This is the first time it's had gas in it.

just rub a bar of soap on it.

Ya that's whet I need to do but now I have to drain it and I know it's going to make a mess and I still have work to do under it so I'm holding off on it.

I'll vouch for Jon. And you'll get no sympathy from other club members either "Smelling bad" would be a euphemism.

pumped out the tank and changed the seal yesterday. Found my alternator pulley loosed a little so I'll have to tighten it up and got a couple more things to do but it's getting loaded on the trailer today.
Got it loaded but my brake booster is leaking so I don't think I'm going to be able to wheel it.

Oh good Lord!!!! Do you want to wheel it? If so a booster wont hold you up!!!!

A 60 booster will fit and they are easy to come by, worst case.

I'm sure someone has something for you.

I just acquired a 1/2gallon can of sausage gravy for SOS for breakfast one day. Just need some biscuits/toast.

Now that we've sorted the truck issue out, anyone got any ideas for food?

I'm coming up empty on food I can make for a large group. I'll have some Frito chili pie and come jambalaya to share but that's all I've come up with.
