Soft top BJ71, or maybe a soft top BJ70 with an aftermarket turbo?
Edit, I just realized the year is wrong for a B-series engine...not sure what this thing is!
So there was a factory FRP on 70/71-Series?Also, no such thing as a BJ71 FST. Only hardtops/FRP tops.
Well my previous post is right on point, it's a BJ73 equipped with the the 5 cylinder VM engine !
Damn you are fast brother! Not dune beige, so I guess you will pass?
I know EPC is not listing a BJ71 soft top. It is also not listing a LHD BJ70 softtop for Europe. Also, no such thing as a BJ71 FST. Only hardtops/FRP tops.
The owner said it is a 4 cylinder...Well my previous post is right on point, it's a BJ73 equipped with the the 5 cylinder VM engine !
This is very common. The owner said it is a 4 cylinder...
2.5 turbo diesel is a 5 cylinder VM Italian engine, which probably is one of the worst engines ever put in a 70 series. I guess the owner hasn't opened the hood? The owner said it is a 4 cylinder...
Oh s***! I’m running from this one.2.5 turbo diesel is a 5 cylinder VM Italian engine, which probably is one of the worst engines ever put in a 70 series. I guess the owner hasn't opened the hood?
if the rest of the truck is rust free then it would be a good candidate for a engine swap, especially if you can get it for a really good price.Oh s***! I’m running from this one.

That’s definitely a no, unless the engine has been recently rebuilt and you/mechanic did a real good check on it, and then start planning on a replacement engine. Of course it would definitely need to be totally rust free, which I would doubt. He is asking 19k
