Factory Winch

My truck came with a factory winch but no controller! Does anyone have any suggestions on a replacement controller and a source for it?

I assume you're talking about an Aisin?

Also, IIRC from reading past posts, there may have been more than one controller/wiring diagram. Probably be a good idea if you can give us a part number or a pic of the winch for guidance?

OUCH! $955 for the control? Guess so, since the winch is $8500+

You know you can get a nice Warn for much less. In fact, you can get an entire winch from Warn for less than $955

People say to hack the Warn controller and that does sound cost effective.

Yea. It sounds so reasonably priced. I'm hoping there is a replacement controller that exists somewhere and is compatible??

You can adapt a Warn controller I believe. There may be some threads in the diesel and 80-series sections if you search.
