Tried the search and couldn’t find the advice. Anyone know how to remove pins from the factory plug ? Feel free to link if obvious but I could not find one. I am feeling like I am destroying the plug while trying.

Thanks!!!

I want to say you can also file down a window wiper metal blade or something if my memory serves me correct. There is a thread somewhere in here on that, but I like to support vendors that support the community.

that white part of the connector on top is the pin lock, that has to be released before removing the pins. for the larger pins like in that connector I just use a t-pin to pull out the pins

If you look in the front of your Toyota factory electrical repair manual there is a blueprint that gives you all the dimensions of a tool you can make yourself to take these connectors apart.
