I have the same rear cable locker without the disks. Any details on the disk setup?

it is a 60 series cable locker. The wiring is for the switch for the light in the dash to indicate when the locker is actuated..

Woou ! never notice a dash light for cable lockers .. can you take a pic of this light ?

I haven't wired mine in yet, but I think how it will work is the locking mechanism activates the switch which closes the circuit sending power to a light in the dash. I'll include it in my write up in my Overland build thread.

VTCruiser, Thanks for the pics. I took a look at them and they are not "locked" like the guy said. He wants 300 bucks for both axles (complete). They are from a 62 so am deciding if I want them or not. If I can sell my aftermarket a/c kit or soft top I will probably buy them so I can rebuild both and just swap them out at the same time.

from what I understand the spline on the axel's are longer for the cable lockers,

The indicator light for mine has been sitting in a box for 3 years now. Once I got the cables and actuator levers installed I realized that the little light is totally redundant. It's obvious from the handles whether you're locked or not. Dash light makes good sense for e-lockers though. Definitely post a pic of the light when you get it hooked up. I'd like to see what mine would look like if I weren't so lazy.

Agreed, unless something goes wrong with the cable, in which case the lever might be up, but the locker is not engaged.
