I am assuming that the reason you cannot use a cable locker in a SF application is because there is no provision for C clips, correct??

Rear 80 series Electric lockers are all full floaters then?

Mace - not sure if the C clip is the only reason, since you need a longer spline on the long (short? don't remember now) side axle when swapping a OEM third with locker into a 60 series.

Yes. All 80 series ('93-'97), with the exception of a few very early 93's,IIRC, are full floaters. The OEM locker requires the correct FF axles.

I don't think that there is any articulation penalty associated with SF vs. FF.
