i was wondering, where do you guys get your extended brakes lines from. I am looking for 2 of the lines that go from the frame to the front axle. Thanks a lot.

MAF was my source.

Depending on how far you want to extend there is another solution.

Replace the lines on your front axle that go to a junction block on the dust covers and from there you have hard lines going to your calipers. Get the longer rubber hoses (there are threads that give you the Napa part #) and run them from the axles to the calipers and if the shorter rubber lines you are replacing are in good condition you can use them to extend your front and rear lines from axle to frame. This will allow you to remove your calipers without having to bleeed the system. I actually have the MAF extended lines with the shorter front brake lines added to them because the MAF weren't long enough on my SOA.

You need the Napa part # 38009 for both the front and rear it's the hose that goes from the frame to the axle YOU NEED THESES !!! You should replace your short ones on the wheels if they are really bad.

As quoted to me by VA.CRUISER awhile back. They ran about $15 ea. Got mine sitting here waiting on a little more cash for resp of parts for the alcans. I am really starting to get the itch as some of my friends are comming back to college soon and thats who i usually wheel with! I need those 33's! :)

How long are those napa ones? I actually have an FJ40 with FJ60 front brakes, so the soft lines coming from the calipers actually have to go all the way to the frame. My FJ40 is not lifted but the stock FJ60 lines that run from the frame to the axle are too short.

i will measure tonight for u. hope i remember :) Now there is a central line that runs from the axle to the frame. I think its in the middle of the axle somewhere. Tyring to follow your situation and it sounds like you are running all the way from the caliper up to the frame with 1 soft brake line? my axles have hard on the axle then over to the caliper its soft then hard again. TOY350 was refering to this. Alot of people run longer soft line right at the caliper to get rid of the hard line there. I think it aids in working on birf's and stuff.
