I ordered extended brake lines with my lift kit for my FJ62 and only recieved 1 pair, I guess for the front? Is that standard that you just extend the front lines and not the rear? I assumed when I told the guy it meant for the front and rear?? Anyone know?

I have a 40 but I think they should be the same. One line is used on each axle.

There is a rubber brake line that screws into a junction attached to the axle this delivers fluid to the pass and driver side brakes.

The other end of this rubber line goes up to the frame and is connected to a steel line. That is where the extended one goes in. It replaces the rubber line. The rubber lines from the actual caliper / drum to the axle housing STAY PUT.

Same for the backs. The brake lines are extended as the frame will be farther away from the axles when the lift is installed. this puts less pull on the old rubber lines.

ALso if the suspension is flexed out. the longer lines wont be destroyed. by haveing them ripped out of one side.
