Sounds like a great trip. Definately throw me on the tentative list. My son will almost seven and would love the trip.
 
I'll be out in Ouray and Silverton this summer for a couple weeks. My brother in law is running the Hard Rock 100 race and my wife and I are going to be his crew. (The HR100 is a crazy 100 mile race that lasts 24 - 32 hours. My BIL is crazy.)

We're going to leave Maine around July 4th and spend about 3 or 4 weeks on the road with 2 weeks spent in the San Juans and Crested Butte. We'll be taking the 1980 HJ45.

I'd be interested in making the trip again in 2011. My BIL lives in Crested Butte so it's an excuse to go see them.
 
I will most definitely be interested in heading out west. I have been trying to plan a trip for a few years myself but it would be much better to go with a group.

Making my list now for the FJC. Winter project will be M416 build.
 
I've already prepped the wife about this one and am a go. The 4runner is being squared away this month. New crawler Tcase, small body lift and 34s (295-75-17). Other than that, she's good to go.
 
I had a small wrench get thrown into the works. I was rushed to Boston Beth Israel Hospital for 2 of 3 emergency procedures. I just arrived home and the motor for the truck is sitting waiting on being installed in the truck for this trip. Right now I'm on a 6 week nothing over 10 lbs weight restriction and that basically side lines me from continuing with the work,

Time to bring this back up to the top.

I'd like to have a meeting with everyone who would like to attend as well as anyone who might have some insight to a trip such as this or anyone who wants to just come by.

So I'm thinking of meeting somewhere centrally like Worcester MA. or where ever we can get the maximum attendance.

What we need to sort out is the basics such as when and where and for how long. As well as carrying the support gear and spares.

I've been in contact with several people from my other club in SC as well as a few friends out west who all showed an interest in joining us.

Right now I think it's understood that this trip will happen after school closes. So everyone with children needs to know that date.

Already did it way back when the Summer of 2011 seemed way out there. :D
 
There's a TLCA club or two out that way that would probably offer assistance or be a guide for one or more offroad trips. Plus all the forum folks. I would consider it if I modernize my ride.
 
I wonder how long it would take at 50 mph? I would have to get the seats redone.
 
Saturday Afternoon in Worcester? Sounds like O'Connor's! O'Connor's
Place is great, not going on the trip but would make a trip out to Worcester to eat there.

Saturday afternoons will be ok with me. O'Connors is a fav of mine and turns out to be about 5 minutes from my house. I love a Guinness in the afternoon.
