Expedition West - 2011

Made it home at 1030 last night... it is too bad that Utah is that far away. 80 ran perfectly, never a hiccup. We did just under 6,800 miles in 15 days and saw/did many amazing things, thank you Toyota. It does need some exhaust work though thanks to the slickrock. I'll tally up the gas and mileage this week but I think we got about 15 mpg overall.

Thank you Rick and Jim for planning this and inviting us to join... it was an incredible trip that I have always wanted to do and think I just needed that little nudge to do it. Hope you had a safe trip home.

sorry about the lack of continued pics but my buddy took over for Mike and they are more scenic than wheeling.

I have a basic total on cost

fuel = 1881.17
lodging = 910.03, that was using my holiday inn points for 6 nights of stay
food = @650.00 give or take.

That's a long trip,how many miles did you log?

Just guessing 12-16 mpg or so?

Thats an expensive trip $4,000 or so, but the trip of a life time.
