exhaust manifold hell...

Heres a hair brained idea,

I have the exhaust system, and exhaust manifold off of a 3fe, is there any cahnce of the exhaust manifold working off of that? I would have to block off the EGR on the intake. but, im trying to think it out in my head....would it work?

apparently the head of a late 2F and the 3FE head is identical. However, the intake manifold is very different.

Quick answer, I really doubt it.

But I could easily be wrong..

And we will wheel one day.

they look like to seperate sections, the only problem i see would be just fitment issues of the intake hitting the exhaust manifold.

exactly..

Also, because the 3fe block is shorter you might run into exhaust clearance issues..

Ah hell every day seems to get worse and worse...


So, the guy will no longer pay for it like he said he would. My buddy Kina from North Country Cruisers is sending a new intake and exhaust manifold my way, i dint even pay him yet....Hes truly an awesome guy.


Back to the ass hat at the garage, he said he just messed up the one side and thats all he will pay for. The most he will give me is 40 dollars. The guy is complete a******, I dont know what to do about it. I dont even have my 40 dollars yet from the ass.


When I get the used one from Kina if its close enough to be flat I hope I can just throw it on because I dont have the money to deal with getting it resurfaced again, or the time to find a shop as this is my DD.
