Evap in seat removal or swap

I’ve got a 7/70 fj40 that I’m in the process of putting bucket seats in, the factory seat has the fuel separator in the back of the middle seat. Is there a later year separator that I can adapt to work, and will I still need the large tank that is in the rear passenger wheel well?

I used one like this with the cover on my 71. No fuel smell in the garage.
