I have the snapped end of my axle stuck inside my axle tube. I have an aussie locker and I guess when I popped the c-clip I pushed the axle end inside the tube. I can not get the pins that hold the springs in place out of my locker. Anyone have an idea on how to pull the axle out of the tube from the wheel side? It snapped right at the c-clip.

I'm sorry for not having a solution for you, but this is the exact reason why I bought a FF rear axle!

I wish I had a FF rear. Well I drove it back into the third but regardless I couldn't get the studs out so I gave in and pulled the whole 3rd member. Got it into the garage where I could stand and got the studs out, then got the axle out. Going back in tomorrow afternoon. I need to find a solution to those studs because that would be one hell of a trail fix.

I don't think I understand where it is broke for sure, but is there enough room to get the springs out? then the pin should recess into the hole???

The locker itself was fine. I broke the axle at the c-clip last weekend. I just couldn't work the studs out of the locker to get the axle end out. I've got it now, I just had to pull the 3rd to do it.
