Any luck finding video of the 80? I've been trying to look at all the video up to see if someone has it in there footage but not luck so far.*

I check out the latest Baja 2k videos pretty much everyday. There are A LOT of them. Just happened to see #130 in this one.

As for the 80, I've been looking. ;) In one video, I believe I spotted a white 80 sitting in one of the roadside camps. It looked like it may have had a tube front bumper.
 
Sweet! Thanks for finding that, we are still tracking down what we can in the way of footage.

If you look at about the 1:28 mark you will see a Lexus Prado (Like a trophy truck is anything close to a production truck) trophy truck driven by Ikoho Hanawa. He is the top off road racer in Japan and comes out to run the 1000 every year. We chased with Yokohama for him in 2004 when our team was temporarily disbanded due to assholes. :rolleyes::D

Also that helicoptor at the end is the one that waded up near Mike's Sky Rancho.
 
Ikoho Hanawa. Is that the same guy who just broke the Pikes Peak record?

There is another video I watched that had the crash at the end. The guy cut away just after it passed, then turned the camera back on after the wreck.
