Upgrading points in my 81 fj45 to electronic ingnition. But no serial can be seen on distributor. Pertronix customer service was no help. Can anyone name the pertronix or accuspark part numbers, or rec another brand for my original 2F inline6?
Also, should i purchase matching plugs and coil while im there?

Only once was I stranded when the points arm snapped off on the dodge 318 highway dept dump truck. Many time have seen or had black boxes fail. I carry a spare set of points and a condenser for Delco distributor.

Sad customer service is so lacking these days. I think I have an old print SOR catalog that should have something. You might look at the online catalog for sor.com and manafre.com I think they sold them at one time.

Were you able to hook up an HEI dizzy if so how did you get the timing right. I just got one as one of my forced upgrades for my new 2F and the cap doesn't look terribly easy to put on and take off.
