Well not exactly.

So I'm moving to GA and have been commuting from Clemson to Gwinnett County the past few weeks. I take the LC when my wife needs her car and today was one of those days. As I'm driving at the butt crack of dawn to get to work on time, my 2nd and 3rd row led lights start flashing as I navigate potholes on the wonderful back roads of Oconee county.

I pull over and slam shut all the doors thinking one wasn't closed and get back on the road and they continue to flash. So I stop again and check the back hatch and tail gate and set off once more and they continue to flash as I hit bumps.

So I turned them from door option to off and continue down the road. I then notice my dash lights near the temp controls and heat/cold slider start flickering.

Any idea where to start once I get moved??

Ground straps.
Fuse panel
 
I bet its a bad ground
 
So should I replace the fusible links at the battery? I have one just never re places it.

Where is the ground strap?

What should I look for at the fuse panel?
 
Turn on ignition, wiggle fuseible links, look for issues, heck check your battery terminals while you are there. My ground clamp has been loose a few times...

depends on what vehicle we are talking about, 60 62 80? just read 3rd row, so must be 80+
I think there are 4 major grounds, transfer to body, head to body, , intake to body/frame.(fj62/80). .. and of course battery to frame/engine mount.. probably all have a little corrosion under them, esp. the intake and transfer case ones (AL to steel lug), since you are dealing with door lights, that would indicate to me a body to frame ground issue...

I have run body to frame and block to frame for insurance. Because I do not trust the body bolts or engine mount bolts to conduct-b/c paint.


at fuse panel, pull appropriate fuses and play with them to see if one is defective, I have found bad plastic on fuses that caused issues.

I have never seen a bad wire or connection on the backside of a fuse panel from the factory..
