What kind of cfm do I need for a 350, I am planning on putting in an electric fan. Dual or single fan? stuff like that.

Ford Taurus....check out pirate4x4.com, tech links. Should find what ya need in there. I think I've got it on the link list here too, if not PM me and I'll add it.

Taurus, BUT there are two fans in Taurii.
The 3.0L uses a two wire fan
The 3.8L uses the desirable three wire fan.
The 3.8L Sable is the same and has a very nice Maxi fuse box located betwen the left strut tower and the firewall.

The Lincoln Mark VII (I think) uses a monster 100A fan. I think Tim Prilliman is running one. Very hard to find and requires a huge relay, but kicks out more CFM than any electric I ever heard of. I'm sure you could find more info by doing a LCML archive search at www.birfield.com

From what I have seen the 3 wire fans come in several vehicles. The 3 wire fans put out a ton of air. The startup (split second) I measured was bout 85 amps with low speed drawing a constant 11 amps and high speed drawing a contant 32 amps.

All with the 3.8L engines
Taurus
Sable
Mark VIII
T-bird

I am sure there are others, just look for the 3.8 and anything with a small air intake area.

There are also some great relays and a BIG fuse block on the top of the fire wall.

I have a 3 wire fan if you are interested. PM if you want.

Thanks guys, does it matter what year model? And I am not really going to start acquiring all the pieces until March sometime, but if you still have it then I might look into it.

The year does matter. I want to say they are in 90-95 model year cars. I will post the part number tonight after I get home.
