No I would just like to see one in person canvas, vinyl. A soft door that is also a half door is what I would like to see.

Does the bows set include everything you need to install a soft top on a hardtop FJ40? I'm thinking about the frame around the doors and the brackets for the rear corners...
Are there pics somewhere of the complete half door with canvas tops, mated with a soft top?

By my count, we are at 7 committed orders.

Alright guys, here's the scoop:
Q- A customer wants to order a canvas black top and bows with preferably steel half doors with canvas upper if available, or if not available canvas black soft doors.
A- Canvas is hard to get (in fast colors) in any other color then Khaki. It tends to fade over time in most other colors. I will try to find good Black canvas with guarentee soon.
Q- A "standard" top order includes, the canvas top and the bows. Is anything else needed to install it on the truck?
A- The top order for US$700 ($600 for groups) includes Top, Bows, Rear corner brackets, footman loops, nuts and bolts, windshield channel and a set of local made (addmitedly inferior in quality) turn buttons. So you wont need anything more to install the top. Just have to buy good trn buttons from a local boat/canvas shop.
Q- Does one size fits all? What I mean is, are the for all years of the FJ-40 the same?
A- The canvas fits all . There is a slight bend in the bows in newer model cruisers. So the bows are either older ones or newer ones. The tops are all the same size.

A- The doors can be made by vinyl and canvas both. The doors come with all hardware. Other options are a cup holder ($50) , ash tray($50) and side view mirrors ($80). The doors fit all 40 series including 42,43,46 and all 45s

As far whether black will be available, Ehsan said that he needs a few days to try to find good Black canvas with guarentee and he will reconfirm.
